Dr Peter Yerbury

Dr Yerbury graduated from Guy’s Dental Hospital, London, in 1984. He spent a number of years in hospital training posts in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, before gaining experience in general dental practice with particular interest in prosthodontics. He then embarked on the North American Specialist training in Prosthodontics with a scholarship from his undergraduate dental school, completing the three-year programme at the University of Texas Health Science Centre in San Antonio in 1992. He graduated with a Masters Degree in the same year and gained Specialist Registration in Prosthodontics in the UK. He continues to be an active participant in study groups in UK, Europe and USA, recently serving as President of the American Dental Society of London. Dr Yerbury provides fixed restorations for many situations, ranging from single teeth to complex full mouth rehabilitation, in close co-ordination with other specialists and referring colleagues. He has a particular interest in removable prostheses, with application of advanced functionally generated techniques. Where appropriate, implants are used to support both fixed and removable prostheses. Aesthetic evaluation and treatment are provided upon request in accordance with current, ethical prosthodontic practice.

Dr Mary Blessing

Dr Mary Blessing graduated from University College London Dental School in 1989 with a bachelor of Dental Surgery degree.

She worked in a private dental practice for a number of years before completing her master’s degree with distinction in Conservative dentistry at UCL Eastman dental Institute in London.

She started work at 57 Portland Place in 1997 and continued to lecture for a number of years at the Eastman dental institute. Mary is registered as a Specialist in Prosthodontics on the GDC dental specialist list. She keeps her enthusiasm and professional training up to date by attending many dental meetings and groups including being a member of the British dental association and the British society of restorative dentistry. Mary prides herself on providing gentle, personalised high-quality care for each of her patients using the most up to date techniques available

Dr Ian Blewitt

Mr Ian Blewitt qualified from Peninsula Dental School in 2012, following a degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Nottingham. He worked in general practice in Gloucestershire and then in Maxillofacial Surgery at Great Western Hospital. During this year he completed the MFDS examination of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Following this Ian was appointed as an Academic Clinical Fellow with the NIHR in Restorative Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at Bristol Dental Hospital. During this time he developed a passion for Endodontics, gaining a place on the Master of Clinical Dentistry specialist training programme at Guys Hospital, London. This programme led to Ian becoming a registered specialist in Endodontics with the General Dental Council. In 2018, he was appointed as a Consultant in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, where he is a Clinical Lecturer in Endodontology involved in postgraduate training for dentists. He is a member of the British Endodontic Society. Ian’s areas of expertise are root canal treatments of complex teeth and re-root canal treatment. Ian is a caring, patient and meticulous person who is keen to dispel the myths surrounding root canals by providing pain-free treatment. Away from work Ian is a keen runner and cyclist. He also enjoys country walks, pub lunches and reading.
